A study carried out by the DiscoverCars.com platform points to Portugal as the seventh easiest country in the world to travel around by car, largely due to a "well-maintained toll road network".
This survey took into account the opinions of a total of 5,919 users, who responded with a score of 1 to 10 to the question "How easy was it to navigate the roads of the countries you visited?", with Portugal achieving a final result of 8.58, which earned it a place among the best ranked.
The 'crown' of this initiative went to New Zealand, which achieved a score of 9.08. It was followed by Cyprus (8.83), Australia (8.77), Spain (8.73), Germany (8.67), Poland (8.63) and, immediately below, Portugal.
Further down are France (8.55), Turkey (8.50), Greece (8.48), Brazil (8.44), Italy (8.39), Mauritius (8.18), Morocco (8.13) and, closing the top 15, Mexico (8.04).
