The Moto3 qualifying session at Sachsenring, on Friday morning (11), was busy from the first minutes. In search of a direct spot in Q2, the riders accelerated hard and alternated positions throughout the session. The one who came out on top was David Muñoz, with a time of 1:24.767, guaranteeing the top spot in the standings.

Muñoz started strong, taking the lead with a 1:25.634, followed by Taiyo Furusato and Álvaro Carpe. The race was flagged after Buchanan crashed, leaving him unable to rejoin the track in competitive condition.
