Excellent news for all Formula 1 (F1) fans in Mexico. This Wednesday, October 15, it was announced that motorsports fans will be able to enjoy all the top-class competitions, practices, qualifying, sprint races, and Grand Prix through various channels on Televisa, Sky, and izzi, although with some details worth clarifying.
With a statement, Grupo Televisa announced an agreement with F1 to broadcast all world championship events in Mexico until the end of the 2028 season. With this, the company consolidates its commitment to the Mexican audience and its passion for motorsports, one of the fastest-growing sports internationally.
According to the statement later shared by F1 itself, coverage will be offered on both free-to - air and pay-TV channels. For pay-TV channels, the broadcast will be available on Sky Sports on izzi and Sky+, while free-to-air channels will include the Mexican Grand Prix and other special events.
F1 will be available on Sky Sports and izziFull F1 coverage will be available on pay-TV channels izzi and Sky+. It will include all practices, qualifying sessions, sprint races, and Grand Prix of the season.
F1 coverage on open TVTelevisa said in its statement that it will broadcast the Mexican Grand Prix , plus two additional Grand Prix events and a special program featuring race highlights and live analysis.
