On the motorbike towards Brno, a journey inside the GP: special initiatives at Honda hospitality

The starting idea is this: a motorbike trip inside a MotoGP Grand Prix. Therefore, to make the common motorcyclist fan experience a race as if he were a VIP invited by a team. Because participating in a Grand Prix from the inside with all the doors open, including the pitlane , the starting grid and the Honda hospitality to have breakfast and lunch with the champions, until yesterday was reserved for super VIPs and nothing else. An insurmountable area. It wasn't a question of money, certain things couldn't be bought: they remained reserved and inaccessible. Instead, it will be possible to do so in Brno in the Czech Republic, where MotoGP will race on the weekend of 18 to 20 July .
The dream of a Grand Prix experienced with the protagonists becomes reality with the initiative of the Southland Discoveries of Costantino Paolacci and Carlo Morini . And it comes true like this: access to the paddock, a walk on the pitlane, tickets for a grandstand to see the bikes on the track, access to the Honda Hrc boxes during the tests, breakfast and lunch with the champions always in the Honda Hrc and Lcr hospitality areas. All included, even the professionalism and courtesy with which you are welcomed and accompanied by the Honda staff on this carousel of emotions. The package is without surprises and if there are any they are beautiful, like the entrance to the starting grid before the start. A tour that until the initiative of the Southland Discoveries was exclusively by invitation , reserved for the "friends" of the sponsors and various VIPs, therefore forbidden to ordinary fans.
The Southland Discoveries formula goes beyond the sponsors' maxi invitations. The seven-day package includes a departure city (for Mugello it was Rome , for Brno it will be Verona ) from which the motorcycle journey to the circuit begins. The motorcycle used can be owned, or with an additional fee it is possible to rent an Africa Twin or a Transalp from Honda. The package includes petrol, motorways, hotels with breakfast, lunches at the circuit, aperitifs and dinners. You can leave your credit card at home. The group of motorcyclists who will go to Brno will be accompanied by tour leaders Costantino Paolacci and Carlo Morini . There is a support van and courtesy motorcycles are provided in case of mechanical problems. The round trip from Verona to Brno lasts seven days and the participation fee for the rider only in a double room and without motorcycle rental is 2,390 euros . Everything included.
Costantino Paolacci and Carlo Morini explain the initiative as follows: "Southland Discoveries is Honda's partner for promotional activities related to motorcycle trips, road tests of the range and riding courses for beginners and experts. Founded at the beginning of 2025, it aims to involve motorcyclists in exciting tours in Italy and abroad . You can set off with your own motorcycle, of any brand, or with one of the Africa Twin and Transalp that make up the fleet intended for rental . The short adventure to attend the Italian Grand Prix at Mugello represented the launch of the next tour, entitled " Road to MotoGP ", which will take a very small number of enthusiasts to cross Trentino-Alto Adige and Austria to reach Brno and attend the Czech Republic Grand Prix. The strong point of this experience is that participants have access to the paddock, to the Honda hospitality of Hrc and Lcr for lunch and moments of relaxation, to the pits of the two teams to observe the prototypes up close, and to the pit tour to experience the atmosphere of the weekend from the inside. race". But Southland Discoveries' projects also include road tests and driving courses: "The partnership with Honda - add Paolacci and Morini - allows practically any model in the House of the Wing to be made available for an in-depth test, even for a whole day, with a preliminary explanation of the technical characteristics of the product and accompaniment on routes chosen to enhance its qualities. Finally, driving courses will start in September, both for beginners and experts, characterised by the safety of relying on qualified instructors certified by the FMI ". Southland Discoveries is based in Imola and Rome.
