The 10 best-selling cars in June: prices and versions

ROME – The car market in Italy is slowing down: in June, registrations stopped at 132,191 units, marking a net drop of 17.4% compared to the 160,120 recorded in the same month of 2024, when government incentives had contributed decisively to supporting sales. The cumulative balance from January remains negative: in the first half of the year, there were 854,690 registrations, down 3.6% compared to the 886,467 of the same period last year. Here are the 10 best-selling models

Stainless and always at the top: the Fiat Panda confirms itself as the most loved car by Italians also in June, with 7,488 registrations. 3.69 meters long, it is the city car par excellence: easy to handle in traffic, comfortable in the city, but surprisingly versatile even for trips out of town. Inside it offers enough space for four people, with a trunk that, by folding down the rear seats, varies from 225 to 870 liters. Offered in various versions, with the Pandina at the top of the range, it adopts a 70 HP mild hybrid petrol engine and is also approved for new drivers. Prices start from 15,950 euros.

2. Dacia Sandero – 3,615 units

The Dacia Sandero takes second place in the top ten of June with 3,615 registrations. On sale with a price list starting from 13,950 euros, the Romanian compact confirms itself as one of the most competitive models in the B segment for quality/price ratio. Available in two body variants - Streetway sedan and Stepway crossover - it offers a complete range with engines including bi-fuel petrol/LPG up to 110 HP.

3. Dacia Duster – 3,261 units

Third place went to another Dacia: the Duster, which convinced 3,261 customers in June. Also in this case, the competitive price, starting from 19,900 euros, is one of the reasons for its success. The range includes both front-wheel drive and 4x4 all-wheel drive versions, with petrol, LPG and mild hybrid engines, and power ranging from 101 to 131 hp.

4. Renault Clio – 3,204 units

With 3,204 units registered, the Renault Clio takes fourth place in the ranking. Among the strong points of the French car – now in its fifth generation – is the modern and dynamic design inspired by the brand's most recent family feeling. The passenger compartment is spacious and finished with recycled materials, while the engine range ranges from petrol, diesel and LPG up to 101 hp to a 143 hp full hybrid powertrain. The price starts at 19,000 euros.

5. Jeep Avenger – 3,116 units

In the middle of the ranking is the Jeep Avenger, with 3,116 units registered. Immediately recognizable by the classic seven-slot grille that harks back to the tradition of the American brand, the Stellantis B-Suv encloses a true off-road soul in 4.08 meters. It can count on a 1.2 turbo mild hybrid petrol engine with 101 hp, on an electric version with 115 kW (156 hp) and on the new 4xe variant with all-wheel drive with 145 hp. The price list starts at 24,950 euros.

6. Toyota Yaris – 2,799 units

Sixth place for the Toyota Yaris, which in June recorded 2,799 registrations. The 116 and 131 hp full hybrid versions, capable of combining good performance with low fuel consumption and low emissions, represent the heart of the range. For those looking for maximum performance there is also the sporty GR version, with a 280 hp 1.6 turbo petrol engine, which goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds and reaches 230 km/h. The list price starts at 24,550 euros.

7. Toyota Yaris Cross – 2,786 units

In seventh place in the top ten we still find the Yaris, but in the high-wheel Cross version, with 2,786 registrations in June. It is available in full hybrid configurations with 116 or 131 hp and also offers 4x4 all-wheel drive. In the most efficient version it consumes 4.4 liters per 100 km in the mixed cycle. Prices start at 28,750 euros.

8. Toyota Aygo X – 2,600 units

Eighth place is also signed by Toyota, with the small Aygo X that recorded 2,600 registrations in June. The Japanese utility vehicle with a crossover look is an ideal city car, thanks to its 3.70 meters of length that guarantee great agility in traffic. While waiting for the future full hybrid version, it is currently available with a 1.0 three-cylinder petrol engine with 72 HP. Prices from 18,950 euros.

9. MG ZS – 2,522 units
