Ferrari Considering Opening a Subsidiary in the UK, According to Rosberg

Scuderia Ferrari has maintained its historic headquarters in Maranello for 82 years, following the move of its legendary founder, Enzo Ferrari, from Modena to Maranello in 1943.
The factory is seen as an integral part of Ferrari's legacy, but former F1 driver Nico Rosberg has hinted there is a possibility Ferrari could expand its operations outside Italy.
"I've seen a bit of the inner workings at Ferrari and the level of excellence they have is in many areas not comparable to the British teams, particularly teams like Mercedes," Rosberg told the Sky Sports F1 podcast.
"Being in Italy, the whole cultural landscape, makes things a lot harder for them."
"For example, at Mercedes, when Lewis had a request, he would go straight to Toto and Toto would make the decision immediately. That was the end of it."
"But at Ferrari there are so many different decision makers and even Lewis doesn't know exactly what's going to happen."
"Obviously I've heard some rumours floating around. There's talk that Ferrari is considering opening a subsidiary in the UK because the Formula 1 ecosystem is in the UK."
Currently, Ferrari as a manufacturer conducts all of its operations in Maranello.
Mercedes, on the other hand, has divided its operations into facilities in Brackley and Brixworth, England.
With the launch of Red Bull Powertrains, Red Bull will be based on a single campus in Milton Keynes from next year.

The Haas team has a close relationship with Ferrari and has spread its operations to Kannapolis in the USA, Banbury in England and Maranello in Italy.
