After Toprak replaced him, Miller announced that he wanted to stay in MotoGP

After Toprak replaced him, Miller announced that he wanted to stay in MotoGP

Jack Miller is relatively optimistic about the situation, but would rather stay in MotoGP than move to the World Superbike Championship.

"I could go to Superbike and make more money, but that's not what I'm here for," Miller said.

"I'm here to try to compete with the best in the world."

"The most expensive, most powerful bikes you can use, the best brakes, the best everything... That's why I enjoy racing in MotoGP."

"I'm not saying I don't like Superbike. I love it and I was watching it on the Misano broadcast, like every two seconds there was a step. But I'll look at the options here first because I don't feel like my time as a MotoGP rider is up. I feel like I'm still improving as I get older."

"I have had offers from some Superbike teams. I was unemployed last year too. This is not a new situation for me, it's just that I'm living the same day again 12 months later."

Miller’s knowledge of Yamaha’s new V4 engine project that he was developing confirmed that he had access to the factory team’s big project.

Miller joked in his statement: "It was right next to me, so I sat on it. I took a bunch of blackmail photos!"

"It sounds really good and it's nice to see it on the track. But it's still very early in the development process."
