Where is it worth filling up with ethanol compared to gasoline?

Ethanol proved to be more competitive than gasoline in six states during the week of August 24-30. On average, across the stations surveyed in the country, ethanol had a 67.26% parity with gasoline during the period, thus favoring the petroleum derivative, according to a survey by the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) compiled by AE-Taxas.

Industry executives note that ethanol can be competitive even with parity greater than 70%, depending on the vehicle in which the biofuel is used.
Ethanol is more competitive compared to gasoline in the following states: Goiás (65.89%); Mato Grosso (65.98%); Mato Grosso do Sul (65.00%); Minas Gerais (68.47%); Paraná (67.64%) and São Paulo (65.89%).
