MotoE: Brazilian Eric Granado wins race 1 at the Catalan GP

This Saturday morning (06) started happily for Brazilian motorcycling fans, who saw Eric Granado win race 1 of the Moto E at the Catalan Grand Prix in Montmeló. Granado won on the last lap and now takes 7th place in the championship. Lorenzo Baldassarri and Mateo Ferrari completed the podium.
MotoE revs up again at 11:15 am (Brasília time) in race 2.
Starting from pole position, Eric Granado lost positions to Lorenzo Baldassarri and Kevin Zannoni early on. Championship leader Mattia Casadei crashed on the first lap and retired. From then on, the battle was between Granado, Baldassarri, and Matteo Ferrari.
The lead exchanges were intense until the final laps, with Ferrari and Baldassarri putting pressure on the Brazilian. On the final lap, Granado made the decisive overtake at Turn 1, held off intense pressure from his rivals, and crossed the line in first, securing his first victory of the 2025 MotoE season.
