MotoGP and Miguel Oliveira head to the Catalan GP. See the schedule.

For the third time this season, the MotoGP World Championship heads to Spain—this time for the Catalan GP at the Circuit de Barcelona. One of the riders taking to the track is Miguel Oliveira .
After leaving Hungary with his best result of the year so far, the Portuguese Pramac Yamaha rider is looking to build on this on a track he knows very well. He sits 23rd in the standings with just ten points.
At this point, Miguel Oliveira's future is still uncertain . There is strong speculation in the international trade press that Yamaha has allegedly decided to renew Jack Miller's contract and dispense with the Portuguese rider's services. If so, there remains another spot in the 2026 squad, at LCR Honda. However, Diogo Moreira is being eyed for that bike.
Marc Márquez's Seven Wins in a Row
Marc Márquez is on an unstoppable streak . The Ducati rider leads the championship with a significant lead (175 points), thanks to a streak of seven consecutive wins. Now, the Spaniard is racing at home and could leave Barcelona just a short distance away from his eighth title.
In second place is Álex Márquez (Gresini/Ducati), 52 points ahead of two-time MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati). Rounding out the top four is Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi—a manufacturer that typically performs well in Catalonia. He's 31 points off the World Championship podium.
With two podium finishes in the last three rounds, Pedro Acosta (KTM) will be one of the riders to watch in the Catalan round of the championship. He currently sits fifth in the championship, ahead of the VR46 riders.
