In an interview with the German portal “Motorsport Aktuel”, Mark Rushbrook , head of Ford, revealed details about the progress of the project and the automaker's expectations with the partnership.
The brand spokesperson explained that the initial focus was on learning about electrification, focusing on the chemistry of battery cells, converters, calibration, and control. Currently, the focus has shifted to improving the combustion engine and its components.
Although the partnership between the companies has generated great expectations among fans, experts such as Johnny Herbert , a former F1 driver, remain skeptical about its success in the first few races.
