The new mode that Tesla has implemented in its autonomous driving function and that can become a danger

If there's one thing Tesla can't be blamed for, it's its constant pursuit of innovation for its vehicles. Since they're essentially computers, they implement some kind of new feature with each system update, which is quite interesting.

That's what happens with autonomous driving . The system has several modes for going faster or slower. These are known as 'chill' (which reduces speed), 'standard', and 'hurry', which in English means hurry and is used to go faster.

However, in the latest software update, the company owned by South African-born tycoon Elon Musk has implemented another mode known as 'Mad Max,' similar to the post-apocalyptic film series.

It's a fairly aggressive mode, as when activated, the system will ignore speed limits and go faster. It will also make more aggressive lane changes. The company claims this feature is for busier cities like Los Angeles.

YouTuber Sawyer Merritt tested this feature in two different locations: on a highway and a conventional road. In both, he exceeded the posted speed limit by about 20 kilometers per hour, reaching 137 kilometers per hour on the highway and 105 kilometers per hour on the main road.
