Wolff alongside Vasseur: "Ferrari won't find anyone better". And that comparison with Todt...

Wolff said: "In F1 you can't 'buy' time. You have to give those in charge the chance to make things work. If I'm not mistaken, Jean Todt arrived at Ferrari in 1993 and won the title in 2000. It took him 8 years. That's how it works . F1 is a sport of cycles. Look at us, for example. I don't like being out of the fight for the World Championship for the third consecutive season. But we don't feel useless. We still have good weekends. We win races. But, when things don't go well, no one points the finger at the management to say whether or not they are doing a good job."
Wolff on Vasseur: "This is how it works in Italy"And finally: "Vasseur is perfectly aware of the fact that, in Italy, it's like he's coaching the national team. He's constantly under scrutiny by the media. He has to get used to it. Because, if he wins, he's Jesus Christ. But if he loses... he's a loser. That's how it works in Italy, and it's fantastic. There's enormous passion and you have to get into it. And maybe there's something to learn. But he has to be given the trust to lead the team. They won't find anyone better."
