ROME - It has become the most anticipated event for “Panda fans” from all over Europe who have found an event capable of bringing together owners of the iconic Fiat model of all ages. “Panda a Pandino”, also known as the record gathering, is the great event that every year brings together an incredible collection of examples of the popular city car, which has always been the best-selling model in its segment. Pandino, a small town of nine thousand inhabitants in the province of Cremona, is as always about to transform into a “mecca” for hundreds of Fiat Pandas from all over Italy and every corner of the Old Continent.

The famous gathering will take place over three days, from Friday 20 to Sunday 22 June, with music, food specialties, fun and big surprises. An event made possible thanks to the collaboration of the municipal administration of Pandino, which has always supported the initiative, and the welcome of the local population of Pandinesi (not to be confused with the Pandisti) in the shadow of the famous Visconti castle. The aim of this year's festival is to break the previous record, which saw the participation of 1,051 Pandas. In short, if Pandino calls, the owners of the Turin utility vehicle, created in 1980 by the creativity of Giorgetto Giugiaro, respond by having fun but without ever forgetting solidarity, since the event supports the association "Soli Mai", which works to combat loneliness and isolation among those over 65.

"Panda a Pandino represents a moment of extraordinary cohesion and passion, capable of uniting thousands of people around a symbol that has marked the history of motoring and small cars - explained William Jonathan of the organizing committee - The event is not just a gathering, but a true celebration of the collective identity that Panda has been able to build in 45 years. Beating the record of 1,051 Pandas gathered together is not only an ambitious goal, but a choral gesture that testifies to the authentic and lasting affection for an icon that continues to excite. Initiatives like this demonstrate how powerful the bond is between people and what represents for them a memory, an achievement, a part of life".

After the first day's entertainment with the live show by the band The Sunny Boys in the arena of the Visconti castle, Saturday starts in the morning, in Dovera, in via San Rocco, where the official celebrations for the 45th anniversary of the small car will be held, followed by a panoramic tour of about 25 km through the Crema countryside, passing through Palazzo Pignano, Torlino Vimercati, Agnadello, until returning to Pandino, just in time for the concert of the lively Royal Party. On Sunday, starting at 8 am, the Pandas of all types and all years (even the incredibly transformed ones), will enter Pandino where they will remain on display for the benefit of the public. Also on the program is a performance by Carmagheddon and a Fiat stand with the brand new Grande Panda full electric, to renew a tradition that has always known how to evolve while looking to the future.
