Transport strike June 20, 2025, it will be a Black Friday. Buses, metro, trams, trains and planes at risk

A Black Friday is expected today, June 20, for those who have to use public transport. It is in fact the day of the national strike proclaimed by the autonomous unions Usb, Cub and Cobas. The strike is general and therefore concerns all categories, but the greatest difficulties are related to transport. Buses, metro, trams, trains, planes, but also maritime connections are at risk.

Transport strike Italy

A general strike is called for the whole day, involving the airline, railway, motorway and local public transport sectors. The unions involved are CUB/SGB/USB and SI-COBAS . The strike modality for the airline sector is from 00.00 to 23.59 , for the railway sector from 21.00 on 19/6 to 21.00 on 20/6 , for the motorway sector from 22.00 on 19/6 to 21.59 on 20/6 and for local and maritime public transport for 24 hours with various modalities.

Transport strike Italy – Freight transport

An 8-hour strike is called, from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. , for the staff of the Captrain Italia company. The unions involved are FILT-CGIL/FIT-CISL/UILT-UIL .

Transport strike Italy – Railway

A general strike is called for the whole day, involving the railway sector. The unions involved are SI-COBAS . The strike modality for the railway sector is from 21.00 on 19/6 to 21.00 on 20/6 .
