The XPENG brand, fresh from its debut in Italy, launches an SUV that combines technology, refined design and flagship performance. Conceived as a manifesto of the zero-emission future, the G9 brings with it an advanced 800V electric platform, a proprietary software architecture and a design philosophy entirely dedicated to comfort and safety.

The SUV, distributed in Italy by ATFLOW, features a minimalist design and aerodynamic efficiency that is meticulously crafted. Refined design and high-end interiors

XPENG G9 makes an impression, even before being driven. The generous proportions (4.89 meters in length) and details such as the X-Bot signature LED headlights, the retractable handles and the darkened panoramic roof, speak a modern aesthetic language consistent with the premium identity of the brand. Efficiency is also evident in the details: active front grille, frameless windows, aerodynamic rims and soft-close doors contribute to a reduction in air resistance and a sophisticated experience even when stationary.

Inside, the G9 surprises with its silence and materials. The choice of upholstery ranges from eco-leather to Nappa leather, the seats are massaging, heated and ventilated, with a tilt of up to 180°. On-board comfort is amplified by intelligent climate control and advanced infotainment management: double central screen, 3D interface, Snapdragon processor and DYNAUDIO audio system with 22 speakers. Each passenger has a dedicated area and can manage, even vocally, their travel experience.

Assisted driving, advanced software and ultra-fast charging

The beating heart of the XPENG G9 SUV is the X-EEA 3.0 architecture, the proprietary intelligent platform that makes the vehicle upgradable via OTA and capable of integrating new features over time. The XPILOT system offers advanced assisted driving with adaptive cruise control, active lane keeping, automated parking and a long list of active safety devices. The seven airbags and the steel and aluminum structure complete the safety package at the top of the category.

On the performance front, the G9 accelerates from 0 to 100 in 3.9 seconds (AWD Performance version) and can be recharged up to 300 kW in direct current. This translates into 100 km of autonomy gained in just 5 minutes. The declared autonomy ranges from 460 to 570 km depending on the version, with 78.2 or 98 kWh batteries.

Price and positioning: premium but competitive

The XPENG G9 is positioned in the premium electric SUV segment, but with an aggressive offering. Prices start at €61,170 for the RWD Standard Range version, with a launch offer of €55,790. The Long Range reaches €66,170 and the AWD Performance arrives at €76,170. All versions benefit from the 800V platform, the full set of driving assistance systems and the build quality of a model designed to compete with high-end European and Asian brands.
