Brabus Rocket GTS Deep Blue, 1000 HP of hybrid power

The new proposal from the German company is called Brabus Rocket GTS Deep Blue and transforms the Mercedes SL into a shooting brake and uses a body made entirely of carbon to ensure aerodynamic stability even beyond the 300 km/h threshold. In fact, in the front area we find an integrated spoiler, which significantly reduces the lift of the front, the sides show off skirts that blend with the side panels and the wheel arches, while, in the rear view, the diffuser increases downforce and highlights the four round titanium exhaust pipes of the high-performance exhaust system. The aerodynamic picture is completed by the two rear spoilers and the five-spoke wheels with central nut that use aerodynamic slats to extract heat from the wheel arches and cool the braking system.
The interiors, crafted with artisanal care using carbon fiber, leather and Alcantara, feature quilted stitching and recall the exterior livery with Deep Blue accents; the Rocket GTS logos that identify the model are also present. Under the skin, the car hides a hybrid power unit consisting of a 4.5-liter twin-turbo V8 engine and an electric component for a system power of 1,000 hp and an electronically limited torque of 1,820 Nm. Rocket in name and in fact, this sports car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.6 seconds and reaches 200 km/h from a standing start in 9.5 seconds, while it takes 23.6 seconds to go from 0 to 300 km/h. The maximum speed, electronically limited, is 317 km/h.
