Amel Boubaaya joins Renault Group in Alpine brand communication

ROME - Amel Boubaaya, a highly experienced manager, currently responsible for EMEA communications for Bentley Motors, will join the Alpine brand starting from July 1st. He will succeed David Gendry, who left the company in 2024, and will report to Christian Stein, CCO of Groupe Renault, and functionally to Philippe Krief, CEO of Alpine and CTO of the Group. At the same time, he will join the Alpine Management Committee. Amel Boubaaya's appointment is part of the Alpine brand's plan to strengthen its range, which also includes its international expansion in Ireland and the Nordic countries (Norway, Finland and Denmark). After obtaining a master's degree from Celsa (Sorbonne University, Paris), Amel Boubaaya began his career in 2007 at Renault Sport Technologies based in Les Ulis, Paris. Since then, he has worked for several automotive companies in various markets in a variety of roles, from the launch of the Infiniti brand in Europe to regional and global roles at McLaren Automotive, where he spent 10 years in communications. “Firstly, I would like to take this opportunity to warmly thank Orianne Tamburini, who has been in this role throughout the transition and has been a strong advocate for the team and the brand, as well as responding to all media inquiries,” said Christian Stein. “I am now looking forward to working closely with Amel. Her extensive experience in the sophisticated world of automotive and communications will be a key asset for Alpine, which in its 70th year is at a crucial point in its growth, in light of its great ambitions.”
