Kawasaki Versys 1100, official motorcycle of the Tour de France 2025

The Tour de France , the most prestigious event in world cycling, is a spectacle that depends on a large infrastructure, as well as a large number of support vehicles for teams and organizers.
And among them, this year, a fleet of Kawasaki Versys 1100s will be rolling as the Official Motorcycles of the event in 2025 and for the following two years.
With twenty-one stages and 3,338 km, the Tour de France runs over a variety of terrain, with elevation changes from mountains to sea-level plains, as well as countless twists and turns. It's a demanding competition for the cyclists, but also for the support crew and support bikes.
"Thanks to their generous load capacity, smooth response at all speeds and on any road, and all-day comfort, the Versys 1100 contributes to race efficiency by ensuring road closures are maintained, crowds are kept safe, and the entire racing entourage, team support vehicles, and media can complete each stage unhindered," the brand itself states.
The Versys 1100 stands out for its versatility on any road, comfort, and ease of driving. This year saw a major overhaul: the inline four-cylinder engine received a displacement increase from 1,043 cm3 to 1,099 cm3, and maximum power increased from 120 hp to 135 hp.
As for electronic aids, it features KTRC traction control, ABS cornering management, power mode and riding mode selection, and, in the SE version, Showa suspension with electronic damping.
