Alpine: An overview of the new products for 2026

2026 will be a pivotal year for Alpine. The French sports car brand is on the verge of adding its first all-electric SUV, the A390, to its model range. Furthermore, more details about the new A110 could be revealed later this year – the second generation of the popular SUV could be offered as both an electric and a hybrid model. Here's the current status.
New Alpine A110Little is known about the next generation of the Alpine A110 . Its market launch is expected between 2026 and 2027. It is certain that it will be available in a fully electric version – but Alpine managers have recently hinted that a hybrid variant is also conceivable.

The electric version is designed to be particularly lightweight, with a target weight between 1,200 and 1,300 kilograms. It will be powered by a rear-mounted engine producing at least 300 hp. The A110 is being developed on a specially designed platform, which will later also underpin the larger A310 – a sporty coupé with higher production numbers.

With the A390, Alpine is breaking new ground – it's the brand's first SUV and, moreover, purely electric. Although, with the sporty Renault 5 sibling, the A290 , they already have some experience with electric vehicles. The car measures 4.62 meters in length and is based on the AmpR medium platform. Three electric motors deliver a combined output of up to 470 hp.
The 89 kWh battery enables a range of up to 550 kilometers according to WLTP. The interior features numerous sporty details inspired by the Formula 1 single-seaters of the Alpine racing team. Prices for this Porsche Macan rival start at €67,500.
