The 2024 NASCAR Cup Series arrived at Watkins Glenn International for the second race in the Round of 16, and the ending was chaotic. The first two stages and 75 laps were pretty tame and featured limited passing before a late caution turned the race upside down. In the end, it was a non-playoff driver that earned the victory at The Glen.

RFK Racing’s Chris Buescher won the 2024 Go Bowling at The Glen, earning his first win of the year. Buescher was able to pass New Zealand’s Shane Van Gisbergen on the final lap, as the Kiwi wasn’t able to get back to him. It marked the RFK Racing driver’s first win of the 2024 NASCAR season, after missing the playoffs.
