Vowles: Williams could be weaker in Hungary after Spa update

With the new updates used in last weekend's Belgian GP, Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz earned the team a total of 11 points in the sprint and main race.
Team principal James Vowles commented on the updates on The Vowles Verdict, the team's official evaluation programme: "We've basically given the car more downforce with this update. But there will still be some tracks that are strong and some tracks that are weak for us."
"Spa was a stronger track for us, Monza could be strong too. But I think we'll be weaker in Hungary."
"We will still aim to get points."
Speaking to the media after the race at Spa-Francorchamps, Carlos Sainz said he thought the team was "going in the right direction", but added that the updates had made the car more challenging to drive.

Alex Albon, however, emphasised that Hungary has not historically been a good track for the team.
"We had a really strong race in Spa."
"The new package allowed us to finish the race in the position we were in. We wouldn't be this high without this update."
"But we still need to race a few different tracks and see where we are. Tracks like Spa were already suitable for our car."
"Hungary is a track that doesn't usually suit us, so it will be important to see where we are there."
"If we are good in Hungary, then we can be hopeful for the rest of the season."
