Revolutionary technology in the car: No more dashboard, all information will now be on the windshield! Coming in September

Revolutionary technology in the car: No more dashboard, all information will now be on the windshield! Coming in September

The new generation of automobiles, scheduled to be unveiled by the end of the year, will reshape market competition, particularly with the highly anticipated models. Here are the cars that will make a name for themselves before the end of 2025.

French automotive giants have a busy schedule for the rest of the year. At the center of this activity are two key models:

Renault Clio 6

The diamond-shaped brand's most anticipated innovation is undoubtedly the sixth generation of the Clio, a city car legend. Given that the current model is more of a facelift than the previous generation, the Clio 6 is expected to represent a radical revolution in its design philosophy.

While Renault is keeping the details under wraps, it's known that the new generation will offer a more spacious interior and will ditch diesel engine options in favor of hybrid and electric powertrains. The highly anticipated model is expected to be unveiled at the IAA in Munich in September.

Peugeot 308 (Facelifted):

Peugeot, the manufacturer with the lion logo, is updating its popular model, the 308. Expected to be unveiled towards the end of the year, the facelifted 308 will bring its design closer to the modern lines of its older brothers, the 3008 and 5008. This move will also provide Peugeot with an opportunity to update its engine lineup.

While the diesel engine is not expected to be included in this version, the 308 is also expected to inherit the group's new 195-horsepower plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version.

German giants are not sitting idle either

There's exciting news coming from Germany, too. BMW and Volkswagen are preparing ambitious models to showcase their next-generation technologies.

BMW iX3:

The Bavarian manufacturer's biggest innovation will be the new electric, high-performance iX3. This all-electric version of the new X3 marks a milestone for BMW, as it will be the first car to be built on the brand's "Neue Klasse" platform, specifically developed for future electric models. It's also expected to feature technologies such as an innovative infotainment screen that stretches along the base of the windshield and encompasses the entire dashboard.

The BMW iX3 is also scheduled to make its world debut at the Munich IAA.

Volkswagen T-Roc and ID.2:

Wolfsburg-based Volkswagen is preparing to make its mark this year with two key models. The second-generation T-Roc, expected to be unveiled by the end of the year, will feature a design similar to the brand's new models like the Tiguan and will be available with mild hybrid engine options.

However, the most eagerly awaited model is the brand's affordable electric city car, the ID.2!

The production version of this important model, with which Volkswagen aims to spread the electric car revolution to the masses, will be introduced in Munich in September.

Although the launch will take place next year, car enthusiasts will have the opportunity to learn the vehicle's final design and technical specifications before the year is out.
