Tesla recalls 13,000 vehicles: There are risks of accidents

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced that the company will recall certain 2025 Model 3 and 2026 Model Y vehicles. It noted that the battery pack contactor in these vehicles could fail, causing the vehicle to lose power, which could increase the risk of a crash. The statement also stated that 12,963 vehicles will potentially be affected by the recall. The statement also stated that Tesla will replace the contactors free of charge and that notification letters are planned to be sent to vehicle owners on December 9th.
