MotoGP Germany main practice: Di Giannantonio tops at the last minute!

Di Giannantonio, with his fastest lap of 1:19.071, secured his place among the 10 drivers who qualified directly for Q2. He was followed by another surprise, Alex Marquez, who made a strong comeback despite a hand injury. The Gresini Ducati rider set a personal best of 1:19.408, demonstrating his recovery from injury.
Marc Marquez, who consistently performed throughout practice, remained at the top for a long time. However, he lost ground in the final part of the session. Despite this, he showed a strong start to the weekend by finishing third in 1:19.461.
The day's second session, held under the threat of rain, saw drivers experiment with early tire strategies, with many taking their time laps early to avoid being affected by yellow flags due to the short track. Qualifying, especially in the final five minutes, saw significant activity.
On the Yamaha front, Fabio Quartararo made one of the biggest leaps of the day. Quartararo climbed to second with a final lap, finishing fourth and advancing directly to Q2. Teammate Alex Rins fell outside the top 10.
Another notable performance came from Acosta. The KTM pilot finished fifth in 1:19.560, while Franco Morbidelli and Marco Bezzecchi also found themselves in the top 10. Bezzecchi, in particular, managed to recover from his early-session slump.
