Marko: "We are in intensive talks with Tsunoda"

Yuki Tsunoda has had a rough start to his first season with Red Bull. He's only managed 7 points in 10 races so far, and has failed to score in any of the last 5 races.
Moreover, the Japanese driver has been eliminated in the first session of qualifying in three of the last six races. This poor form led him to equal the record of five consecutive races without points with Red Bull, set by Mark Webber in 2009, after the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
However, according to Marko, Tsunoda is making progress despite everything. Marko noted that the 25-year-old driver is starting to get closer to Max Verstappen, and also revealed that Tsunoda has started working with a sports psychologist.
"Yuki Tsunoda struggled on some weekends, but we're starting to see an upward trend in England," Marko wrote in his Speedweek column.
"The gap to Max was smaller in most of the training sessions and he managed to start from P11 in England."
"We had extensive discussions with Yuki; he also works with sports psychologists. Unfortunately, with this rear wing, he didn't have the same luck as Max in the race."
"However, we are noticing an improvement in his performance and we are confident that this will soon be reflected in the points again."
