Horner: Two pit stops in Monaco will add new dynamic to race

The Monaco Grand Prix, long criticised for its narrow structure, has become a race where overtaking is almost impossible as current F1 cars become longer and wider.
The F1 Commission is planning to implement a major change to make the Monaco GP more exciting. Two pit stops will now be mandatory instead of one, allowing teams to implement different strategies.
Christian Horner thinks this change is a step in the right direction.
"The track hasn't changed at all, while the cars have gotten bigger and bigger," said the Red Bull team boss.

"So the outcome of the race is actually decided in qualifying on Saturday. We just watch a parade on Sunday."
"I think the decision to make two pit stops will bring a new dynamic to the race."
"Yes, it's a bit of an artificial intervention but at least it offers an opportunity to stop Monaco from being a stagnant and boring race," he commented.
