Bezzecchi: "We want to continue this line in Malaysia as well"

Bezzecchi: "We want to continue this line in Malaysia as well"

The Aprilia rider moved up to third in the championship after his victory in the sprint race and a podium finish in the main race despite two long-lap penalties.

The final stop of the non-European leg of the 2025 season will be the Petronas Sepang International Circuit. Bezzecchi and teammate Lorenzo Savadori will once again represent Aprilia colors at Sepang, where challenging and hot conditions are expected. Bezzecchi arrives in Malaysia with significant motivation and is eager to build on his success at Phillip Island.

“I’m very happy to be back in Sepang,” said Bezzecchi, recalling the pre-season tests. “We’ve tested here beforehand, so we have some references. I’m looking forward to seeing how we perform now after the work we’ve put in throughout the season. We did a fantastic job at Phillip Island and we want to continue that trend in Malaysia. I can’t wait to get out on track.”

Savadori, who raced in Australia last weekend as a replacement for Martin, who broke his right collarbone in a crash at Motegi, will continue to contribute to the RS-GP25's development at Sepang. Savadori said: "Malaysia is a very different track to Phillip Island. The conditions will be much hotter and more physically demanding." "We will continue development work on the RS-GP25. We want to continue the experiments we started in Australia and push the bike even further here. I can't wait to get started this weekend and, as always, I will give my best."

On the Aprilia front, with Bezzecchi in strong form and Savadori contributing, the Sepang weekend will be a critical test of both sporting success and technical development.
