Another Chinese is coming to Türkiye: 3,500 people ordered a car they've never seen before

Türkiye continues to attract the attention of Chinese car manufacturers. Following BYD and Chery, the Forthing brand, owned by China-based Dongfeng Motor, is also entering the Turkish market. Ulu Motor has taken over the brand's Turkish distributorship.
According to a statement from Ulu Motor, deliveries of the first Forthing brand vehicles to Türkiye will begin at the end of August. The company announced that it has received 3,487 pre-orders before the vehicles hit Turkish roads.
Forthing's D-segment T5 EVO and M4 U-TOUR models come with a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This engine aims to deliver both performance and fuel efficiency by producing 175 horsepower and 285 Nm of torque.
While efforts to establish a dealership and service network throughout Türkiye continue, the aim is to establish at least 40 service points.
