The Formula 1 title race continues in Mexico. All schedules

The Formula 1 World Championship continues next weekend. The Mexico City Grand Prix at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez is next on the schedule as the season enters its final stages with everything still to be decided in the drivers' championship.
McLaren already snatched the constructors' title a few weeks ago, but the drivers' title is increasingly open - with three real contenders to take it .
Piastri remains on top
Oscar Piastri has been leading the championship for several months . The McLaren driver is now going through a more difficult period - he hasn't achieved a podium finish in the last three rounds.
The lead over teammate Lando Norris is closing and now stands at 14 points . Piastri is therefore forced to react to avoid losing the position he has held for so long.
Norris, for his part, has been in good form, with three podiums in the last four stages, but he hasn't won since Hungary.
In third place is Max Verstappen . With three wins and an unblemished record of top-two finishes after the summer break, the Red Bull driver is now just 40 points off the lead .
At the end of August, after the Dutch GP, the gap was over 100 points. Now, Verstappen is almost in a position where he can no longer rely on his rivals' results to secure his fifth consecutive title. Given his recent form, he's one of the favorites in Mexico.
Mercedes leads three-way battle for second place in the World Cup
Mercedes is second in the constructors' championship and has already shown its ability to win, thanks to George Russell, who has finished on the top step of the podium twice this year. Most recently, at the Singapore Grand Prix. The Brit currently sits fourth among drivers and, mathematically, could still be champion. However, the 94 points separating him from the lead make that possibility virtually unrealistic.
Ferrari arrives in Mexico City after one of its best performances of the year , with Charles Leclerc third and Lewis Hamilton fourth in the United States GP.
The team has thus managed to move to within seven points of Mercedes in second place in the constructors' championship. Also in the running is Red Bull, currently third, ten points behind Mercedes .
