The first all-electric Porsche Macan GTS is now available. Here's the price

The Porsche Macan GTS Electric is the first all-electric Macan to be christened with the GTS badge, joining the Stuttgart-based manufacturer's range of all-electric SUVs. It features the manufacturer's most powerful electric motor, sharing it with the Macan Turbo.

The new car has 516 hp, which can be increased to 571 hp in overboost mode with Launch Control. Torque is 955 Nm.

In terms of range, the model can travel up to 586 km combined. It has a 100 kWh battery, which with 270 kW fast charging can be recharged from 10 to 80 percent in about 21 minutes.

Despite being an electric car, Porsche wanted to give it the sonic excitement typical of a sports car. To achieve this, it included Porsche Electric Sport Sound (PESS), with two sound profiles exclusive to the Macan GTS (Sport and Sport Plus).

Exterior design

The exterior lines don't change radically on the electric Porsche Macan GTS. Still, there are distinctive features, such as the black accents on the front, sides, and rear. The headlights are darkened Matrix LED.

Early next year, the new Sport Design Package, common to all Macans, will debut on this standard electric GTS with a specific style. This package will give the cars new front and rear bumpers.

There are contrasting elements with black trim in places like the wheel rims, while the side skirts have been redesigned and widen at the rear. At the rear, there's a lower area with a distinct design and black trim. The lighting system is also darkened.

The electric Porsche Macan GTS comes standard with 21-inch Macan Design wheels in Anthracite Gray. Optionally, customers can choose 22-inch RS Spyder Design wheels in the same color.

For the Macan GTS, three more colors are available : Crayon, Carmine Red, and Lugano Blue—a Macan debut. There are a total of 15 colors available through the Porsche Car Configurator, and nearly 60 more options through Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur's Paint to Sample program.

The interior of the Porsche Macan GTS also features a sporty design , including Race-Tex upholstery with black-tinted smooth leather accents. This applies to the heated GT multifunction sports steering wheel, seat centers, center console armrest, door panels, and dashboard. Porsche has included electrically adjustable sports seats as standard. The side bolsters and headrests are finished in smooth leather.

GTS Interior Package

Making its debut on the Macan Electric is the optional GTS interior package. This allows you to match the exterior color to the interior, and is available in Carmine Red, Neo Slate Gray, and Lugano Blue. It features decorative stitching in a contrasting color in several locations—such as the steering wheel, door panels, seats, and dashboard. The GTS lettering appears on the seats and steering wheel. The Carbon Interior package applies carbon fiber to the steering wheel, dashboard, and door panels.

The 3D display on the central screen reflects the exterior color, and the GTS logo appears on the instrument panel. An app allows access to various Sport Chrono package functions through the central screen.

Settings

Weight distribution is more heavily weighted toward the rear axle, as is the case with sports models. The center of gravity is the lowest in the entire lineup. All-wheel drive with Porsche Traction Management (ePTM), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus), and an electronically controlled differential lock behind the rear engine are available.

This Macan GTS Electric features the sport air suspension with level control and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). The shock absorbers are specially tuned, as is the stabilizer bar, to improve agility and cornering precision. Rear-axle steering is available as an option. The car's towing capacity has been increased to 2,500 kg.

Technology

The Porsche Macan GTS Electric features new parking assistance features, such as Voice Pilot with AI support. The Porsche Digital Key complements the physical key.

Standard equipment includes the Sport Chrono package , which now includes the Track Mode already featured on the Porsche Taycan. This mode increases battery cooling, making it possible to utilize the power loss caused by increased temperature.
