Motorcyclist dies in accident at age 20 in France

Former Moto2 rider, Spaniard Borja Gómez , 20, died this Thursday, 3, after an accident during a test for the European Stock 600 championship, JuniorGP, in Magny-Cours, France .
Gómez was also competing in the ESBK -- the Spanish Superbike championship -- and was in the lead after winning race 2 of the round in Aragon, held last weekend.
"With great sadness in our hearts, we regret to inform you that Borja Gómez passed away at the Magny-Cours circuit after a serious accident in the first free practice session of the European Stock Championship," Team Laglisse said in a post on social media.
International media reports indicate that the accident occurred with several pilots and, as far as we know, Borja Gómez did not survive the injuries he suffered in the impact.
