Diogo Moreira confirmed by Honda for MotoGP 2026

On Tuesday morning (14) , Brazilian rider Diogo Moreira was announced by Honda for the 2026 season. The rider, who currently competes for the Italtrans Racing Team in Moto2, arrives at the LCR Honda team as a key player in the team's project and will be teammates with the experienced Johann Zarco.
A native of São Paulo, Diogo began his career in motocross and moved to Spain in 2017, standing out in the CEV Talent Cup with victories and podium finishes. In 2022, he debuted in Moto3. His first pole position came at the Silverstone GP, and in 2023, Moreira achieved his first victory in the category, at the Indonesian GP.
Moto2 Season
Diogo is currently second in the Moto2 championship with 229 points, just 9 behind leader Manu Gonzalez.
