Mille Miglia 2025, driving the Mercedes Amg SL 63 SE Performance on the roads of the Red Arrow

The Mille Miglia 2025 ends with the victory of Andrea Vesco and Fabio Salvinelli on Alfa Romeo 6C 1750, for the fifth consecutive time on the top step of the Freccia Rossa podium. After 5 days of racing, 1900 kilometers traveled and over 400 historic cars in motion, the "most beautiful race in the world" confirmed the dominance of the driver from Brescia but above all brought a real traveling museum along the "eight" shaped itinerary of the pre-war editions. Not only vintage cars but also 110 accredited media cars, including the Mercedes Amg SL 63 SE Performance with which we followed the Mille Miglia caravan along the Bologna-Rome leg.

Mercedes Amg SL 63 SE Performance at Mille Miglia 2025
10 hours, 7 minutes and 48 seconds, maintaining an average of 157.6 km/h. The protagonists? Stirling Moss and Denis Jenkinson, when in 1955 they completed the Mille Miglia aboard the Mercedes-Benz 300 SLR “722” in a record time that has remained unbeaten. 50 years later we find ourselves on the Mille Miglia track aboard the Mercedes Amg SL 63 SE Performance, a model that combines performance and technology with the charm of the legendary SL roadster. Powered by the 612 horsepower V8 endothermic engine mounted at the front, it adds 204 horsepower delivered by the electric motor, mounted at the rear, for a total power of 816 horsepower and a maximum torque of 1,450 Nm that ensure a top speed of 314 km/h and a sprint from 0 to 100 km/h covered in just 2.9 seconds.
