In Greece, an Italian driving license and insurance are valid. Important: to drive 50cc motorcycles, a category A driving license is required . To enter the country, dogs and cats must have a European pet passport (issued by the competent Italian veterinary health authorities) which must contain detailed information about the animal's rabies vaccination. They must also have an electronic microchip or a legible tattoo, applied before July 3, 2011, with the same code shown in the passport.
