Alpine "trains" for the F1 World Championship: first km of the A525 with Gasly and Doohan

Alpine kicked off “its” 2025 Formula 1 season, taking the A525 with drivers Pierre Gasly and Jack Doohan out on track for the first time today, February 24, at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir. Pierre and Jack shared the limited 200-kilometre programme as part of the first of two days of filming granted to the teams.

The team led by Flavio Briatore, the A525 and the drivers will return to the track from Wednesday 26 February for the first day of official pre-season Formula 1 testing at the same circuit. Doohan will run on Wednesday morning before being replaced by Gasly in the afternoon and Thursday morning. The son of Mick Doohan - five-time 500cc world champion on motorbikes - will return to the A525 on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, before Gasly will again finish testing on Friday afternoon.
