This Saturday, August 2nd, is the only day Bison Futé has classified as a black day this summer, with many people leaving and returning from vacation and traffic already heavy this Friday. Here are the main tips to remember.

Be careful if you're driving this Saturday, August 2nd: Bison Futé has classified this day as black for departures, and orange and red for returns. But traffic is expected to be heavy starting Friday, throughout France, particularly in the Rhône Valley and along the Mediterranean. This Friday, "traffic is expected to be difficult from early morning until mid-evening, depending on the area," notes the traffic forecasting service.

As a result, the day is classified red in the direction of departures in the North, North-West, in the Centre and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, orange in the rest of the country.

In the return direction, the flows will be less significant, with a day classified orange in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.
