MotoGP - Marc Marquez sets fastest time in MotoGP practice, KTM disappoints

The result: Marc Marquez took the lead with a time of 1:30.480 minutes, 0.147 seconds ahead of Marco Bezzecchi. Franco Morbidelli took third place, followed by Francesco Bagnaia and Alex Marquez. Honda factory riders Joan Mir and Luca Marini finished sixth and seventh, respectively. Jorge Martin, Pedro Acosta, and Fabio Di Giannantonio snagged the final spots for direct entry into Q2.
Already in Q1, Fabio Quartararo (12th), Brad Binder (13th), Maverick Vinales (14th), Fermin Aldeguer (15th) and Enea Bastianini (18th) will have to compete.
Crashes, defects & incidents: The MotoGP stars had everything under control for a long time in practice, but things became turbulent in the final minutes. Augusto Fernandez crashed in turn two on Yamaha's new V4 engine. Joan Mir crashed in turn nine. Raul Fernandez flew off the track heavily at turn 15, and Jack Miller caused the final crash of the session.
The weather: After a cloudless morning, a few clouds had formed over Misano for MotoGP practice on Friday afternoon. With an outside temperature of 28 degrees Celsius and a high of 37 degrees Celsius, it was still hot.
