MotoGP - Fabio Quartararo takes the last MotoGP practice time at Le Mans

Fabio Quartararo continues to impress at his MotoGP home race in Le Mans, leading the second free practice session on Saturday morning.

Fabio Quartararo continues to be in top form. After finishing second in MotoGP practice on Friday afternoon, he even managed to push Marc Marquez out of the lead in the second free practice session on Saturday morning at Le Mans .
The result: Quartararo was 0.066 seconds faster than the Ducati star with a lap time of 1:30.546 minutes. Fermin Aldeguer took third place ahead of Francesco Bagnaia and Alex Marquez. Maverick Vinales was once again the best KTM rider in sixth, just ahead of Pedro Acosta. Franco Morbidelli, Johann Zarco, and Luca Marini rounded out the top ten.
Fabio Di Giannantonio finished eleventh, Brad Binder 13th.
Crashes, Defects & Incidents: Franco Morbidelli crashed at turn seven just over a minute before the end of practice. He had to go through the gravel trap after a braking error. He had already successfully cleared it and was about to rejoin the track when he tipped over at low speed with his dirty rear tire on the asphalt. It was the only crash of the session.
The weather: MotoGP began its sprint Saturday with the second free practice session at Le Mans under virtually cloudless skies. The outside temperature was 17 degrees Celsius, and the asphalt was still quite cool at 13 degrees Celsius.
