Features Audi Q3: Innovations of the compact SUV

The engineers have added a few innovations to the new Audi Q3 that make driving easier and more comfortable. Here they are.
In the third-generation Audi Q3, innovative switch modules replace the conventional steering column stalks. These new controls still allow for more precise control of functions such as turn signals, windshield wipers, and direction selection. They also provide a bit more space in the cockpit, and the interior appears cleaner.
Micro-LED technology for headlights
The new Q3 illuminates the road with digital matrix LED headlights, each containing 25,600 micro-LEDs. This technology enables the projection of symbols or warning messages onto the road surface. Examples include displaying ice warnings directly onto the road or guiding the driver through construction zones.
Android OS as an infotainment operating system
For the first time in an Audi model, the Q3 features infotainment software based on Google's Android OS. This platform offers seamless integration of Google services and regular updates.
Extended rear seat with variable inclination
The rear seat of the new Audi Q3 can not only be moved longitudinally but also adjusted for angle. This allows for individual adjustment of seating comfort for rear passengers and increases the interior's flexibility. This feature has not been a given in the compact SUV class.
