USA GP Winner Charles Leclerc: Thank You, Lando and Max

Charles Leclerc celebrated his victory at the USA Grand Prix, marking his eighth Formula 1 win and third of the season, following triumphs in Monaco and Monza. This victory at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) is significant as it is Leclerc's first win at this venue and his 40th podium finish in F1.

For Ferrari, this is the 247th GP win, the fourth for the year (with Carlos Sainz winning in Australia), and their second victory in Austin since Kimi Räikkönen's win in 2018. It also marks the first double victory for Ferrari in the USA since Michael Schumacher and Felipe Massa in Indianapolis.

Leclerc crossed the finish line 8.5 seconds ahead of teammate Carlos Sainz, expressing pride in his team: "I am so proud of my team; all the hard work is finally paying off." He noted challenges earlier in the weekend regarding car balance but felt improvements during the sprint race enhanced his confidence for the main event.

During the race start, he took advantage of a tussle between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, smoothly advancing to the lead. Leclerc emphasized his gratitude for the team's efforts, hinting at a competitive opportunity for Ferrari in the Constructors' Championship against McLaren.
