Anthony Richardson Sparks Colts to 16-10 Win Over Dolphins

INDIANAPOLIS -- Anthony Richardson returned from injury to lead the Indianapolis Colts to a 16-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins. Although he didn’t focus on his stats, he made crucial plays in the fourth quarter, including two field goals to secure the win.

Richardson, who had missed nearly three games due to a hip injury, took advantage of Tyler Goodson's first NFL touchdown. Goodson’s 7-yard run tied the game early in the third quarter. Despite struggling with consistency, Richardson completed 10 of 24 passes for 129 yards and rushed for 56 yards on 14 attempts.

Colts’ kicker Matt Gay hit three field goals, including a crucial 22-yarder with 8:41 left and a 38-yarder with only 1:51 to go. The Colts improved to a 4-3 record, winning three consecutive home games.

Meanwhile, the Dolphins (2-4) faced setbacks, losing quarterback Tyler Huntley to a shoulder injury in the third quarter. Huntley managed 87 passing yards and one touchdown before being replaced by Tim Boyle, who completed 8 of 13 passes for 74 yards. Despite rushing for 40 times totaling 177 yards, Miami struggled offensively, with star receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle limited to a combined two receptions.

Late in the game, Jason Sanders missed a 54-yard field goal attempt that would have tied the score, highlighting Miami’s offensive woes. Both teams combined for only one touchdown in the first half, as the Colts battled back to take the lead.

In other news, former Colts tight end Dallas Clark was honored during halftime, being inducted into the Colts Ring of Honor.

The Colts move on to face Houston next week as they continue their campaign for a playoff spot.
