Wheeler Dealers star Mike Brewer has previously revealed the very last time he saw fellow co-host Edd China before the on-screen duo parted ways. Mike and Edd hosted the iconic classic car restoration series from 2003 before Edd decided to walk away from the production in 2017.

Edd’s decision was said to be down to creative differences with producers, leaving the series to host his own online YouTube channel. Edd was replaced on the series by top motoring mechanic Ant Anstead who also departed in 2020 when the series returned to the UK. Former F1 mechanic Marc Priestley took up the role soon after and still presents the series today.

Mike has repeatedly denied any feud between himself and Edd but stressed he had not spoken to Edd since the duo’s on-air split.

Previously speaking to The Road to Success podcast, Mike said: "The last time I was with Edd we were in Paris together getting drunk in a Paris hotel room where I’d just given him a gig.

"He needed money, I didn't need the money so I’d given him a gig. People don't know any of this stuff. We got drunk together, hugged at the end of it. That was the last time I saw him."

After Edd walked away from Wheeler Dealers, he published an update on his YouTube channel on the reasons behind his departure.

Edd explained that he felt show bosses wanted to cut back on air-time given to his in-depth repair work done in the workshop.

The former co-host then claimed he and Mike had "disagreed" over the direction of the show.

He admitted Mike wasn’t his "favourite person" at the moment but never revealed any further details of any potential argument between the pair.

Mike has since reiterated there was no big spat with Edd simply deciding to carve his own career path.

He told The Road to Success podcast: "There was no feud, there was no split up, there was no disagreement, there was nothing. There’s a thousand YouTube videos 'The Truth behind Wheeler Dealers'. Nothing happened.

"A guy left his job, that's it. A guy was working one day and the next day he went ‘do you know what I'm going to do my own thing'."
