Dyson Racing began its season behind the eight-ball when team owner Chris Dyson was injured in a crash during the Trans Am Series season opener and had to miss the next race.

When substitute driver Matt Brabham won at Road Atlanta, it was only a sign of things to come.

Dyson returned to the car and picked up a victory during the California swing, but as the summer heat picked up so did the results for the Dyson operation.

Back-to-back events at two of the country’s most prestigious road courses — Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course and Road America — have produced back-to-back one-two finishes for the New York-based two-car team.

Matthew Brabham led Dyson to the checkered flag at Mid-Ohio and then the roles were swapped at Road America after Dyson led every lap, leading Brabham home for his 28^th career Trans-Am victory.
