The GT World Challenge America powered by AWS championship returns to action at Barber Motorsports Park for the UAB Medicine GT World Alabama benefiting Teal Wings of Hope from September 5th to 7th for rounds eleven and twelve of the 2025 season. Known for its technical layout and flowing elevation changes, Barber represents a pivotal stop on the calendar as the championship enters its decisive final phase. This will also mark the last event featuring the traditional 90-minute doubleheader format before the season-ending Indianapolis 8 Hour, adding even more significance to the weekend.
After a dramatic weekend at Road America that featured weather-shortened races, last-lap drama, and multiple class shake-ups, the Pro, Pro-Am, and Am battles are tighter than ever. Barber’s unforgiving layout will put competitors to the test as drivers and teams vie for critical points.
The Global Manufacturers Championship also remains hotly contested, with Mercedes-AMG (822.5 points), BMW (784.5), and Porsche (760.5) all within striking distance of one another. Every result at Barber could tip the scales before the finale.
