Sprint Rankings: Gravel Leads The Way, 344 Features Down

Thirty 410 winged sprint car races were run during the past week, but David Gravel remains on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.

One hundred and 25 drivers have now reached the 20 starts required to be eligible for the rankings and 10 drivers have made 50 starts and have begun dropping their worst 15 finishes of the season.

Seven hundred and 25 drivers have started at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season.

Gravel owns a 3.560 average finish in 50 starts.

Michael “Buddy” Kofoid is second in the rankings and he boasts an average finish of 4.82 in 55 starts.

Cap Henry, who won two features last weekend, is third in the rankings with an average finish of 4.967 in 30 starts. Carson Macedo and Danny Dietrich round out the top five.

Danny Dietrich moved to the top of the Eastern region standings, while Kaleb Montgomery has taken the lead in the Western region.

Henry (Great Lakes), Joe B. Miller (Mid-America), Ryan Timms (Great Plains), A.J. Flick (PA-OH) and Jesse Schlotfeldt (Northwestern) retained their regional leads.

One hundred and 40 drivers have combined to win 344 features thus far this season.

Gravel leads the nation with 12 victories, while Henry, Rico Abreu and Timms have all won 11 races.
