Sprint Rankings: 431 Features Run, Gravel’s On Top

Twenty-two 410 winged sprint car features were run this weekend with World of Outlaws point leader David Gravel remaining on top of the National Sprint Car Rankings.
Gravel, who has won 14 features this season, has an average finish of 2.720 in 57 starts this season.
One hundred and 66 drivers have reached the 20-start plateau to be considered in the National Sprint Rankings and Anthony Macri leads the nation with 70 races under his belt.
Buddy Kofoid, who won Friday night’s World of Outlaws race at Bakersfield, Calif., is second in the rankings with a 3.580 average finish in 62 starts.
Pennsylvania ace Danny Dietrich, World of Outlaws traveler Carson Macedo and Cap Henry, who is the nation’s leading feature winner with 17 checkered flags, round out the top five.
Seven hundred and 65 drivers have run at least one 410 winged sprint car feature this season with 157 making at least 20 starts.
Anthony Macri (Eastern), D.J. Netto (Western), Henry (Great Lakes), Joe B. Miller (Mid-America), Ryan Timms (Great Plains), A.J. Flick (PA-OH) and Jesse Schlotfeldt (Northwestern) retained their regional leads.
One hundred and 52 drivers have combined to win 431 features thus far this season.
