ROSSBURG, Ohio — Bobby Pierce raced from the sixth-starting spot to snare the $20,000 FloRacing Night in America presented by Kubota victory at Eldora Speedway on Wednesday night.

Hudson O’Neal led the first 24 laps from the outside-front-row starting position before Pierce took the lead, existing turn four on lap 25 and led the remainder of the 50-lap affair.

“The track was super fun tonight with a lot of character, but no mistake about it there’s no way I could’ve driven that way for 100 laps tonight, so it worked in this 50 lapper but wouldn’t have gone so great on Saturday,” Pierce laughed. “We had that one restart, and I was a little worried because I knew I had spoiler damage and McDowell was up to third, but ultimately everything worked out. It’s kind of wild to think this winning streak we have right now at Eldora over the past year with the World (100) and the Dirt Track (World Championship).”

Eighth-starting Dale McDowell rode the low line by Nick Hoffman for third on the 30th lap but started outside O’Neal on the lap-48 restart and couldn’t advance further.

Fourth-running Devin Moran slowed on lap 48, triggering the race’s second caution and setting up a three-lap dash to the finish. Moran lost oil pressure entering turn one and attempted to make the backstretch pit opening but spun to a stop.

O’Neal and McDowell completed the podium finishers, while Hoffman finished fourth after reclaiming the spot following Moran’s woes. Garrett Alberson rounded out the top five finishers.
