NASCAR Hands One-Race Suspension To Austin Hill

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Austin Hill has been suspended for Saturday’s race at Iowa Speedway.
NASCAR officials announced the penalty on Tuesday afternoon, which results from Hill intentionally wrecking the No. 19 driven by Aric Almirola after the two made contact during Saturday’s race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Hill, who drives the No. 21 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, is fifth in the Xfinity Series standings and has won three races this season.
Hill remains eligible for the playoffs but he forfeits all playoff points he had previously earned.
