Howard Does It Again At Southern Raceway

MILTON, Fla. — Dale Howard picked up his second $3,000 paycheck in the past two weekends, winning Saturday’s Battle at Beach finale for the United Sprint Car Series at Southern Raceway.

Howard, who also won at the track the previous Saturday, started on the pole and outran New Jersey sprint car ace Davie Franek to win the 30-lap main event.

Mark Smith, Matt Covington and Chris Martin rounded out the top five.
